An informative and interesting introduction to plant surveying with an experienced recorder and member of Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland (BSBI).

Plant records are always welcome in the CAVLP area and if you would like to be involved with this but have no idea where to start, this event is for you!

Please dress for the weather with sturdy footwear, and remember to bring a notebook and pen or even a Plant ID guide if you have one.

Terrain:  Flat but uneven and muddy in places.

Maximum number of participants:  15

Age group:  Over 12’s. Not suitable for children

Driving and public transport directions:  Take the train or bus to Larkhall Station, where it's a 25 minute walk to the starting point. Check the Traveline Scotland widget (see right) for details on the frequency of services.  

Parking:  This site is next to Larkhall Golf Club. You may use the far end of this car park or the on-street parking without restrictions on Hareleeshill Road. Hareleeshill Road is first right at the roundabout if driving south east, with Larkhall Golf Club on your left.
