Join the Clyde Valley Orchard Cooperative for a walk, talk, activities and refreshments in Kirkfieldbank Community Orchard with beautiful views over the Clyde.

Once known as the Fruit Basket of Scotland, orchards are an important part of the Clyde and Avon valley's heritage. Find out more about the history of orchards in the valley and the work the Cooperative are doing to revive them including planting and commercial juicing.

Please note there is no designated parking at the orchard site so please park considerately in the village or use public transport.

Directions: If you're driving towards Lanark on the A72 Riverside Road, Kirkfieldbank Orchard is located on the right hand side of the road as you come to a bend in the Clyde, before crossing a narrow bridge, near the far end of the village. The Orchard is on a grassy hillside overlooking the Clyde. Look out for the Kirkfieldbank Community Orchard sign, set back from the roadside in the entrance to the orchard.
