Clyde and Avon Valley Festival 2017: Corehouse Estate and Corra Castle Guided Walk

Join the Scottish Wildlife Trust Ranger for a guided walk around the Corehouse Estate including exclusive entry into Corra Castle. This building is normally locked to the public so it is a real treat to be able to venture inside! Visitors will learn all about the history of the Corehouse and the people who lived there. We will also take the opportunity to view Corra Linn from our recently restored viewpoint which affords a much closer and more intimate experience with this magnificent waterfall.

Clothing:  Suitable waterproof/outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear are essential.

Terrain:  Please note that it may be muddy underfoot, the paths on Corehouse can be uneven and it is steep in places, contact Laura Preston if you require further information on accessibility.

Maximum number of participants:  25

Age group:  Adults and children over 8 yrs. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The walk is primarily aimed at adults.

Parking:  Car parking at West Lodge is limited so please park sensibly when you arrive. If driving – come along Kirkfieldbank Road and then onto Corehouse Drive.
