This concert will showcase the songs written by the Lanarkshire Songwriters as part of the FRUITS OF THEIR LABOURS Project. The songs were inspired from the oral histories collected as part of the project from people who have been involved in the Fruit Growing and Horticultural Industry which existed in the Clyde Valley.

These songs will be included on the forthcoming CD. Songwriters performing on the night will include Robin Laing, John Malcolm, Ian Walker, John Young, Bob Bradford, John Young, Chris McCulloch, Dougie Semple, Frank Rae, Gordon Neil, Rab Armour, Tom Clelland, Billy Stewart.
