Community Led

Young or old we want to help people to take care of our valley for everyone to enjoy for generations to come.

Empowering communities is a key objective of the Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership. We want to work together with villages, community and special interest groups to improve the valleys in a wide variety of ways.

The partnership is working with different community groups to take forward a range of initiatives, from supporting community-led projects, such as community orchards, to involving locals in our own projects.

We run events and consultations that give you the opportunity to tell us what is important to you and how we can help support locals and build capacity in groups.

Support can include:

• Developing new skills through training and learning
• Advice on taking projects forward that fit the CAVLP aims
• Loans of equipment and resources to help deliver activities
• Partner collaboration with groups to move forward projects
• Consultation, volunteering and events to involve locals in our projects
• Funding

All our projects involve communities in different ways.
