'Was Hael' or 'Good Health' involves traditional music and song to celebrate the coming of spring. Come along for a unique workshop and walk with #MakeYourWay and an apple tree! 

Wassail Making Workshop 11am-12.30pm @ Quarter Boolin' Club - Make decorative walking sticks and spring garlands; learn some Wassail songs and dress the Apple Tree for the Wassail Walk. Hot drinks provided. 

Wassail Walk 12.30pm-2pm - Leaving Quarter Boolin' Club and arriving at Applebank Inn about 2pm. 1.15pm resting/meeting point on the Green Bridge trail with hot drinks and apple turnovers. 

Wassail Toast and Songs 2pm-4pm @ The Applebank Inn 
Join the Wassail walkers for a toast to the apple tree with traditional music, songs and a cup of hot apple wassail!

This event is part of the Make Your Way Chatelherault arts, heritage and active travel project which connects the communities of Hamilton, Larkhall and Quarter with the park. 

The project is being delivered by Healthy n Happy Community Development Trust and icecream architecture and is supported by the Scottish Government Smarter Choices, Smarter Places grant, and Heritage Lottery Fund and LEADER supported Clyde and Avon Valley Landscape Partnership.

The event is also part of the Land, Life, Water: Discovering the Clyde and Avon Valley Past and Present exhibition programme, taking place Saturday 17 - Sunday 18 March:
